I m 55 almost 56 but have only been in menopause for a 14 months--no period at all. I ve been using bioidentical progesterone since I was 37..worked beautifully. Just two years ago my hormones were balanced. I got off of progesterone for a year and have been using the smokey mountain paraben free progesterone for a few months along with estriol from the same company. I m not feeling better. I ve gained weight where as before I stayed trimmer, I have insomnia and sweat at night most nights. How much should use of both everyday. I m using on my wrists about a fingernail size twice a day with nothing on the skin before or after--using estriol near the vaginal area but not inside and also on my other wrists--I change places as to not saturate. I admit I never smoked before and went through a relationship betrayal in 2012 and started smoking a lot every day--about 2 years..but have stopped now. I still look young for my age around 40 - 45 and basically in shape but with weight around my middle-no exercise--just smoked--a bit depressed but coming out of it now and starting to swim at night. Is the progesterone good to use or is there another brand that can help. I don t like the pharmacy type--too strong for me. Any help is appreciated. I know smoking wasn t good but it was company for me--in its own weird way. Thank you. Polly
