Hi,I am Dr. Alexander H. Sheppe (Psychiatrist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I had sexual intercourse with my fiancé, and we used the K-Y yours and mine. During intercourse, I noticed an intense burning. The following day I developed open sores what I assumed to be abrasions. I did see one pimple but the other areas are highly sensitive and open. I m currently using hydrocortisone ointment and taking one Benadryl every night. Should I continue my current regimen or go get checked out?
Good evening. The abrasions probably could be due to rough sex or wrong angle of sex which caused peeling of the skin. I will suggest you to consult a gynaecologist and get it examined. Kindly avoid using hydrocortisone cream, incase they are infected it might get flared up with the same. Also refrain from sex for a few days till they heal. Hope the information was useful
