Hi Dr. Rynne. My name is Troy. I am 52 yrs. young. I just had surgery on my cervical region in April 2017. I had C3-C7 fused. I am having extreme pain, numbness and tingling, from the shoulders, down to both of my hands. A few yrs. ago I had a partial shoulder replacement on my right shoulder, I am thinking with the symptoms I am now having, it is the same as when I had to have the right shoulder partially replaced. The pain is quite severe, and when sleeping, since I sleep on my side(s) that arm down to the fingers goes numb and I wake up and switch sides till that arm goes numb...I had the right shoulder replaced due to arthritis...But I am unsure what is exactly going on now. At times, I cannot lift my arm any higher than level with the shoulder. Lifting above the head is a lost cause, and neither arm nor shoulder can lift above the shoulder. I know I need a CTscan but have not yet went and gotten one...I believe it is arthritis, and now it is in both shoulders and causing me a great deal of pain. Thanks for your help!
