What Causes Intermittent Dizziness Throughout The Day?
Recent Symptoms? New-dizziness intermittent throughout the day, old pitted edema in my ankles at night. They get worse as they day goes on, most times they are better by morning, and some numbness/tingling in face. I have high blood pressure and High cholesterol which I am taking medication. I also have high anxiety and sometimes need to take medication for that. I am over weight. And I wonder if I should be going to see my MD? When I mention the swelling and pitting in my ankles he doesn t worry. And my BP bill has a water pill in it.
- See an ENT specialist / get examined; investigated…Balancing mechanism is in the inner ear. - Postural hypo-tension / anaemia are common - If not, see a neurologist – MRI and/or MRA may be needed / In such a situation, one ought to consider educed blood supply to the hind brain - If still elusive, see Cardiologist! - for arrhythmia, clot, ischemia etc.. - Your doctor is not concerned about the ankle swelling – because it is probably from incompetence of the veins – a Doppler of lower extremity veins may help to diagnose
Take care Good luck
