Hi,I am Dr. Andrew Rynne (Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Intermittent Tingling And Numbness In The Left Arm And Leg?
I'm experiencing intermittent tingling and numbness down my left arm, leg and face. I have had a neck injury in the past (3 herniated discs from a car accident in 2000...I am 66 years old, female. I don't seem to have any symptoms when this passes (in a minute or 2)...concerned about ignoring it if it's heart /stroke etc...?
Coming to your symptom, you cant ignore your symptom. What you are experiencing is a sign of brain problem. It may be brain stroke [not heart]So as a next step you need to consult a neurologist and should go for ct or mri brain as per directions of doctor.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Sagar
