What Causes Intermittent Vibrating Sensation In Thigh?
hi i have a strange sensation that comes on intermittently in my left thigh...i initially thought it was my mobile vibrating in my pocket but when i checked my phone was in the other pocket . I am a nurse and i am on my feet for 12 1/2hr shifts . i have had 3 very bad insects bites in the same leg and i cant recall how long i have had the sensation. All i know is that i am more aware of it now. As a nurse i am very worried what it may be .Thank u
I think it can be due to nerve compression. It is called meralgia parasthetica. I would suggest you to show it to a orthopaedic surgeon. if he confirms this diagnosis it can be treated with steroid injection. Avoid wearing very tight skit or belt at nerve compression is at the level of waist. It will also be beneficial to take pregabalin and mehylcobal tablet.
