What Causes Intrauterine Fetal Death?

Hello doctor, My friend 22 weeks pregnant, fetal movements are not there... the doctor said Intra auterine fetal death.. why it occurred what are the causes and symptoms of this fetal death... if she tried next baby the same problem is occurred or not??.. Now doctors giving Folic acid and Ecospirin tablets for the next planning of pregnancy

I had gone through your question and will try my best to resolve it...
Intrauterine fetal death can occur due to so many causes and you can easily google it out, so not going in details about that...
I want to tell you that its not always that if you had intrauterine death, so in future you will also have such kind of problems...but you need to be precautious for sure...folic acid tablets are given to prevent any kind of neural tube defects in baby, which is one of the cause of intrauterine death...and it should be started before 3 months of planning pregnancy...
I am not sure why ecosprin has been prescribed by doctor, so its better that your friend can ask directly to her doctor...
I also suggest your friend to take few precautions in her next pregnancy like avoid sex, have sufficient rest, healthy diet, avoid travelling or heavy weight bearing, regular checkup of BP , Sugar, etc....
