What Causes Involuntary Movements In The Legs?

I have for over a year now, experienced sudden, involuntary movements in both legs. The movements feel like stretches, only last for a few seconds, but usually repeat numerous times, then stop for no apparent reason. They aren t painful, but are very strange, and irritating when reclining in my chair.

Consult a neurologist and get evaluated. We have to rule out movement disorders which can present with similar symptoms.
