I have been having trouble with my birth control for awhile now. Basically I will be going on my second year of random periods/bleeding. I have been on seasonique all through college and then out of no where began bleeding irregularly. I went to my gyno and switched my bc to another pill, I want to say lo loestrin. Tried that and the bleeding continued. Then I tried ortho tricycline and that made things better for a month or two. Then out of no where again I began bleeding. This time like a 15 year old girl freshly starting her period it was bad. I couldn t predict how much I d bleed and I was losing the ability to know my body personally and what to expect with that time of month, which was now basically everyday. I went back to my gyno discussed more options. (All testing and exams were normal everytime I saw her). Finally went on nuva ring. Dis great my first month or two stacking the rings so I would be 4 on then put a new one in so no period. I did this cuz I have been bleeding for so long now it s exhausting. Well sure enough about a month or two ago this crap started again. I coninuously bleed. I can do a lot one day and then barely nothing but somehow there is always discharge in there or leaking out. I an go days with no tampin but always seeing stuff when I wipe. Sometimes I wake up randomly and there s a ton of discharge/blood. It can be brown or bright red or can that purple red that looks like a period. I am starting to loose my mind. I feel like I have zero control over my body and I m tired of randomly bleeding in my clothing or having this constantly affect my sex life. PLEASE HELP!!!!! I am only 23. I don t want to keep fueling hormones into my body to consistently be on my period. I cant remember the last time I wasn t bleeding for more than a week or two. I want to have kids some day and I don t wanna jeopardize that either. I would also love to go to the beach without worrying about a tampon. What is going on?? What can I do?? Stop bc? Take the ring out for a week then try it in again and do the 3 week on and one week off cycle? Idk!!! And the last thing I want to do is keep seeing my gyno spending more time and money to ultimately get nowhere. I m so exhausted with it. Please help!!!
