when I go to bed at night my heart will have big jolt, but I am not asleep. This jolt actually hurts a little. It feels like my heart stops for a second. My whole body will jolt with it when this happens. What is this jolt in my heart when I lay down to go to sleep?
You can consult your cardiologist and get an EKG done to rule out abnormal rhythm. Most probably it can be a transient problem and nothing much to worry about it.
Hope I have answered your query.
