What Causes Irregular Periods After Removing An IUD?
Ii just turned 50. September 7th. I have had 2 men sexually in my life..I had a Mirena IUD taken out in July and haven t been. Careful . Cycle is messed up already but Drs told me then that I wasn t in menopause...what are my chances of being pregnant?
Hello dear Understand your concern. Irregular period are common after the removal of the IUD. Period will become normal after 3-5 months and chance of pregnancy is also increased once the period gets the regular. Irregular period is due to hormonal imbalance. Other causes of irregular period are: Excessive weight loss/weight gain Thyroid problem, PCOS, Ovarian cyst, irregular eating habit, excessive stress. perimenopausal state.
For exact diagnosis consult the gynecologist and undergo pelvic examination , full hormonal profile tests, USG for complete health check up.
