What Causes Irregular Periods After Taking I Pill?
I had finished my periods 3 days back then after 2 days I took an ipill . But then on the 7th day after taking ipill I again got my periods. N then again after 10 days I got periods. I have a baby of 9 months. Is there any problem as why I am getting periods so early?
Taking emergency contraceptive pills may cause irregular periods, scanty periods, spotting or bleeding between periods. These are the side effects as they cause changes in the body hormonal system. It will get back to normal as soon as the body adjusts. Since you have a nine month old baby you should consult your gynecologist and get proper contraception that suits you best.
Get a follow up clinical examination done by your gynecologist. You may need some supplements. Get urine and blood tests done to confirm you are not pregnant. This is to stay on the safer side. Avoid stress and take home made food rich in iron, calcium and protein. Stay active and take quality sleep. You need adequate rest for your body to restore energy. You can take multivitamin supplements.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
