What Causes Irregular Periods?

Hi there, iam 20years of age and im need advice about my irregular period, i get it twice a month and sometimes between those i have spottings aswell. me and my partner have sex when i don't have my period and the next day i start bleeding again, i don't know what going on and please can you help me. Hi,

This could be due to conditions like endometriosis, uterine fibroid, PCOD, adenomyosis, endometrial polyp or cervical polyp. So in order to diagnose what you have you need to do a pelvic scan and some hormonal tests. For now we have stop your periods since you are bleeding continuously. Then you need to regularize your periods with some hormonal pills.

In between hemoglobin also should be checked since there could be high chances of anemia. If yes then start on iron supplements under prescription. Direct examination of the cervix is needed since there is bleeding after sex. Don't worry and do not get confused. We need to work it out.
