What Causes Irregular Uterine Contractions During Pregnancy?
i'm 38 weeks with breech baby, c section in 1 week. but i've been losing my mucus plug (which started out clear and has become yellowish) for 3 days now and have a lot of back pain and contrations (irregular) today, sometimes the cramps last for 30 mins. should i be concerned that i wont make it till next week or that something is wrong?
Hello, I have gone through your query and understood the concern. Your symptoms suggest that you are setting into labor. You should report to your health care provider immediately as the baby may have descended down and hence the increased frequency of contraction and the back ache. You should also be watchful of premature rupture of membranes as this incident is quite common with breech presentation. Take bed rest with slight propping up of the foot end and monitor fetal movements. There is no harm even if you have to deliver now since the baby is term. Take adequate liquids. Wish you safe motherhood.
