What Causes Irregular Vaginal Bleeding While Being Sexually Active?

Hi I have a question to whoever is able to help me.I m irregular with my periods. My last one was on February 12,2017 I m not suppose to get until around the 12 of March. In january my period was very dark brown and lighter than usual. On Saturday I noticed very light pink blood after I use the bathroom it s not every single time it s about 2 3 fines a day. My boyfriend got a vasectomy done almost a year ago so because of that we don t use another way of protection. Could i be pregnant even though he had that procedure done?

Hi,

I believe your irregular periods are related to hormonal imbalance. You should get your hormonal levels checked. You are advised to go for some investigations as TFT, FSH, LH. USG abdomen/pelvis. As far as you are concerned about not getting pregnant, then you should not worry about it as your partner has undergone a vasectomy.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
