What Causes Irregularity In Periods After Taking Loestrin?
I am on the contraceptive Pill Loestrin 30 and have been for 10 years. During the last few days on my pill packet I missed ONE pill, So took two at once the following day (as the instructions said to).
My period was due on Monday. Me and My Husband had sex on Sunday night! My period came on Monday, but was very light, I only bleed Monday and Spotted slightly on Tuesday! Should I be worried? Or shall I just start taking my pill as usual on Saturday?
Loestrin is an oral contraceptive pill to prevent pregnancy, it contain estrogen and progesterone in each active pill, and each pill has different amounts of hormone in each pill, according to menstrual cycle. Thus, the pack should be taken in correct order, do not skip the dose. If you miss any pill you can be pregnant, now you continue your pack in similar way at fixed time, and don't miss any pill in future.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
