i am having a irritated throat it feels like there is a hair maybe stuck in the back of my throat, and i have had it for about 5 days now, i get it on and off and it is really annoying me, any idea of what it could be or what to do to help it?

Do you have common cold or flu.Other causes are laryngopharyngeal feflux.Only a throat examination will point towards a definite diagnosis.
