What Causes Irritation In Eye While Closed?
For the past few days I have been experiencing eye irritation in the left eye. It s been driving me crazy and sometimes gets to the point where it hurts. The irritation only happens when the eye and closed and I move the eyeball while it s closed. This makes trying to sleep very difficult. This happens on and off, and stays for anywhere from a few days to a month. It s very worrying.

Your left eye might be having foreign body. Need to show to ophthalmologist who will check after everting your lid.
