I have a slightly irritated left nipple which has happened in the past 2 hours. No visible redness just irritated and ever so slightly itchy. This is in the wake of going to hospital to check my heart after left chest felt heavy; I have no heart issues but a dull pain. Do I take an ibuprofen?
Yes, you can take ibuprofen or any other painkiller and it may be just irritation or allergy reaction. But if this persists, you should do ultrasound and mammography to rule out some more serious causes especially if there was breast cancer present in your familly.
