What Causes Irritation In The Arms After Quitting Smoking?

I quit smoking about a month and a half ago, cold turkey, after being chain smoker for 40 years. I do not have a craving for nicotine, but what is still bothering me is this irritation type feeling in my arms. It feels like my nerves are (?) exposed or raw. Don t know how to explain the feeling. Wondering if I could take any supplement to alleviate this feeling. I do not want to ask my doctor for Xanax or anything like that. Melotonin came up, but do not want anything to make me tired as I have no problem sleeping.

hi
this may be nicotine withdrawal or a Raynaud's phenomenon.
you need to undergo investigation like B12, complete blood count, Prothrombin time, Liver function test to reach diagnoses
if investigation are normal, bupropion or etizolaam might help taken under advice of a family physician.
thank you
