This is a serious question, so please take it seriously: For years, I noticed I ve have itching, tingling and discoloration in and around my nasal area between my cheeks, nose and upper lip. Whenever I walk around anyone, I noticed that they start to scratch around their nostrils and area between their cheek and nose. I ve been to countless dermatologists before who all written this off as seborrheic dermatitis, which I dont think it is, as it seems to have gotten progressively worst even with treatment. As well, the tingling and itching also have spread throughout my body and I m seeing patches in which the hair foliclies are raised and very itchy. I am HIV+, but my counts are undetectable. Is it possible to have a skin condition that is contagious to people without having direct contact? As mentioned above, people itch when they are around me. What could this be?
