I have been drinking 4 oz of lemon juice in 2 liters of water for several years for kidney stones. For the last two years I have been itching all over the body. Demonologist says it s not the lemon juice. And says there is no diagnosis. It just dry skin. I m suspect because it may be the lemon juice. What do you suggest? Probably stop with the lemon juice for a few months and see if it goes away.
hi, thank you for putting up your query on HCM. as per your query, u have itching all over the body since past 2 years. mam, if you have itching with red colored lesions that disappears on its own, that can be urticariarash, which may be due to lemon juice. but since you have no history of red colored lesions, lemons for the cause of itching is unlikely. itching can be due to dry skin. my treatment advise would be: 1. take a bath with olive oil. 2. apply enmoist(white soft paraffin) twice a day. 3. take levocetrizine od, if you have severe itching.
thank you
