What Causes Itching And Bleeding Between The Buttocks?

Hi, I have an issue. The last few months my buttcrack has been itchy and when i would itch it it tends to bleed, last night my boyfriend said to me babe...you have a hole there and it has blood coming out.. you probably need to see a doctor. So i am trying to figure out if it is actually someting I need to worry about or if it will go away on its own.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Bleeding may be due to fissure or fistula or boil rupture or infection or Pilonidal sinus, etc. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. You need to consult your surgeon immediately but don't worry it may be a simple problem you will recover soon. Take care.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
