What Causes Itching And Burning While Urinating?

I haven't had sex in a month because my boyfriend is out of town. I just recently went up there and on the second day of having sex twice the day before, i started having severe itching down there and burning when I urinate. Not severe burning just like a tickle and irritating.

Hi,
Thanks for asking.
Based on your clinical history and query, my opinion is as follows:
1. Get your urine microscopy examination done to look for white blood cells and presence of bacteria.
2. Burning micturation usually suggest infection. Culture also might be necessary.
3. Get the tests done at earliest, to avoid ascending infection into bladder or further up into kidneys. Meet your doctor at the earliest.
Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
