What Causes Itching And Rashes After A Nexplanon Implant?

Hi, hope someone can help I had the nexplanon implant fitted on the 27/10/14 and it s extremely itchy with a raised rash that comes and goes it started maybe two weeks ago? Do you think it s rejecting? I had the nexplanon for 3 years prior and it was fine apart from the normal side effects.

Yes, this could be a reaction from the nexplanon but is still not an indication for removal of the implant. I would recommend you wait for at least 7 days from the placement of the nexplanon, if this duration has lapsed then please do schedule an appointment with your prescribing doctor and receive the required medical attention to suppress your symptoms.
