What Causes Itching And Rashes In Both Legs And Groin Area?

yes, my 24 year old daughter c/o itch since last night, she has been on 2 different antibiotics, 1 docicycline for acne, for about 9 weeks and just started flagyl about 5 days ago for uti she had a few bumps on her thigh this am, she just showed me the rash has spread all down both legs and groin area , with welt looking areas and bumps she is itchy evry were giving her 50mg Benadryl, should we go o th er?

I can understand your concern regarding the skin lesions.
From the description I can think of two differential diagnosis:
1. Urticaria or also known as hives and its pretty common after antibiotics.
2. Tinea or also known as ringworm infection.
Its difficult to point specific diagnosis in absence of clinical examination.
Therefore, I insist you to post good clinical pictures to me so that I can help you in a better way.
