General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It could be minor infection. The most probable reason will be due to lack of proper cleaning and hygiene. As of now, clean the area with soap and water and apply topical antibiotics like mupirocin. If there signs of infection antibiotics has to be started.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
