Hello dear user!
I have gone through your query and understood your concerns!
Thank you for sharing them on healthcaremagic.
Both of them,
acetaminophen and codeine may give itching as a side effect.
Swelling as a sign of
anaphylaxis is a very rare reaction of these drugs. But anyway it may happen, especially in drug combinations, so the best thing she can do is stop taking these drugs. She can use other painkillers, if she is using them with this purpose, such as
ibuprofen,
naproxen etc. If her symptoms are worsened and she doesn't feel good, has
dizziness, headache, or breathing difficulty please go to your ER immediately to prevent complications.
I hope this answer was helpful to you!
Please kindly rate it as helpful and write a short review about your experience with me! I would appreciate that a lot.
Thank you and best regards!
