What Causes Itching And Tingling In Hands And Feet?
I have on again off again tingling in my face, hands, and feet and on my trunk. Some days are worse than others and I may go 4 or 5 days with little or no symptoms. It started over the last year but seems to have gotten worse the last 4 months. I also have some itching associated with it.
Hi. I have gone through your question and understand your concern. Going by the history provided the only thing you have mentioned is tingling in hands and feet so to make a diagnosis with just this symptom is very difficult. Hence i shall list out a few conditions in which this symptom can occur. 1. Diabetes mellitus: associated with the tingling there will be iincreased thirst, urination and increased hunger. 2. Vitamin deficiency.: certain vitamin B components can lead to tingling. If you are a middle aged person with a family history of diabetes. I would advice a fasting and post prandial blood glucose levels. I would advice you to visit your physician for the same and take it further up. I hope i have cleared your query. Kindly feel free to ask if there are anymore doubts regarding this. Thank you.
