Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
It is common to have itching around a surgical wound as the skin gets pulled while the stitches are placed causing some form of mild traction on the surrounding skin. Also, when the skin is pulled, it also leads to dryness in that area which causes further itching. The swelling and pain of your fingers and arm is due to the tight bandage put around the fractured area to hold it in place. As far as you are able to have sensations in your fingers and your arm and it is not massively discolored you should be fine. make sure you apply a good moisturizer around the wound area. Also, it is best to visit the concerned doctor to make sure the wound is fine.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
