What Causes Itching Around The Belly Button With Swelling Around The Edge?
Hi Im experiencing itching around the belly button with some swelling around the edge. Spasms in the lower abdomen and gas pains, although mostly in the morning. My stomachs bloated and I feel nauseated some times. We ve had 3 new puppies in the household in past 2 weeks. so I m afraid it might be parasites any idea of whats wrong with me?

Itch around the belly button with swelling along border is seen in fungal infection. Other symptoms like bloating might not be related to this. You might have developed gastritis. Try an over the counter anti-fungal medication like clotrimazole ointment twice daily for a month. For gastritis you can take antacids.
