What Causes Itching, Clogging With Dry Wax And Throbbing Pain In The Ear?

I was wondering if you could help me with an ear problem of mine? I ve been having ear problems on and off for almost the past year now and I do go see a ear doctor specialist when the problem worsens but for some reason, I feel like my ear problem is never going to go away...it always starts with itching inside my ear and some very dry wax builds up inside and it even got to the point where I couldn t hear out of one ear because it got clogged or something. There s always a throbbing sharp pain when the problem worsens and my ear would get very sensitive and painful when I touch it. I m just wondering do I have some kind of chronic ear problem or something? Because this problem keeps coming and going every time and I m starting to get sick of it. I never had problems with my ears to this extent before and I just don t know what to do anymore.

Hi,
From history it seems that you might be having impacted ear wax producing difficulty in hearing, itching, clogging of ear and some times external ear infection.
There might be possibility of having chronic fungal infection in the ear as well.
Put some wax dissolving ear drops like Waxolve for few days.
Then wax will be dissolve or becomes loose, then try to remove with cotton buds.
Many a time doctor has to remove with ear forcep.
Avoid water going inside.
Ok and take care.
