What Causes Itching Feeling Under Chin And Swelling Under Tongue?
I have this itchy feeling under my chin. It swells up and it feels as if it gets swollen under my tongue. I have some liquid come out with a white strip after it swelled up and it reliefs it for a while but now lately it seems as if it keeps happening more often. I feel like there is something in between my neck and my chin. It has been bothering me a lot and now I started to feel as if I have food stuck in my esophagus. I had labs and ct scans and ultra sounds but doctors find nothing. I hate the feeling and now I don t know what to do. It looks like my tonsils are swollen but doctors tell me its not my tonsils. I just hate does big numps I get under my chin.
Hi. This is a simple swelling due to a stone impacted in the duct of the submandibular salivary gland duct, or a stricture at the opening. Simple palpation helps to get a proper diagnosis. You do not need high investigations as this is a clinical diagnosis. simple Surgery of opening the duct and stitching the borders on the reverse way will give you care. Consult an ENT Surgeon and get operated.
