What Causes Itching In Nose?

My nose is itching so bad, it is almost unbearable, not red, or anything, just very itchy, of course we have the furnace on here full blast, 13 degrees today. But has been unseasonably warm here prior to this cold spell. This has been going on for weeks and it is driving me nuts! Any suggestions?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Most probably it will be due to fungal infection affecting the ear.
As of now you can take antihistamines like Pheneramine for itching.
You have to consult an ENT specialist and get evaluated.
Avoid swimming pools once the disease is settled.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
