Firstly you should know that what you are describing is not a serious health problem and in most cases it can be managed at home. If i were your reating doctor for those insect bites I would prescribe an antihstaminic such as Claritine or Aerius (available over the counter) - once a day in the evening, coupled with a local antibiotic cream such as fusidic acid 2% with hydrocortisone 1% - Fucidin H, once a day as a thin application on the lesions. Limiting the times you wash with soaps or shower gels to once a day could also prove helpful. Keep track of your lesions and after 3 days if you do not see any improvement, please pay your local doctor a visit.
