hi doc how are you ? I m 62 years old lady my english in not enaghf but I m trying to help me with your help my problem is i have eaching in my abdomen from inside evywhere it gets moving at night from my guts coming sound it doesn t give me slip iatchin my skin specialy back side i gave parasite test 1 time it coms negative so i don t know what to do help me plz

hi. am doing good. hope you are doing fine. and hopefully i can help you feel better.

i understand that you have itching mainly over your abdomen and back. i would like to know the duration of itching and also if there are any lesions or not.

meanwhile i would suggest you to take antihistamines to suppress your itching and help you sleep at night. if such a patient came into my clinic i would have prescribed tab cetrizine 5 mg in the morning. and tab doxepin 25 mg at bed time. doxepin will also help you sleep.

also if there are any rashes, a topical steroid like mometasone furoate cream can be applied twice daily.

avoid using harsh soaps and hot baths. use a emolient immediately after bathing.
