What Causes Itching Inside Penis Head?

My wife and I h been faithful and married for over two years. Our last sexually encounter was about a week ago. Today I noticed itching on the inside of the head of my penis in the urethra. Massage makes the pain temporarily subside. No other symptoms. A slight burning sensation when I urinate but not painful. Had STD test about three years ago which was negative.
