What Causes Itching On Tip Of Penis?

hi,today i went to visit my doctor because i had been having this thick, paste like discharge and because my boy friend complained that he was feeling ithch at the top ( head ) of his penis, i did a urinalysis and the results were tha there were bacteria seen and my leucocyes were #, no other infection was foound could this be he reason he is feeling itchy on his penis? and if so should he use the same medicaion i was prescribed?

He needs to have checkups for gonorrhea/chlamydia and other STDs, if he has been sexually active. What conditions were you diagnosed with? it's possible that he is infected with the same condition.
