i AM A DIABETIC, JUST DIAGNOSED LAST YEAR..MY LATEST A1C WAS 6.2 I AM A WOMAN AGE 56..I HAVE DEVELOPED A RED RASH OF LITTLE TINY ITCHY BUMPS, ONLY IN THREE SEPERATE PLACES ON MY BODY...BETWEEN MY BREAST....UNDER ONE ARM AND BEHIND MY EARS.....IS THIS RELATED TO MY DIABETES

Hello,

As per your case history, you are suffering from Intertrigo.

My treatment advice is:
1. Maintain good hygiene and bath twice daily.
2. Apply an antifungal cream like Clotrimazole cream twice daily on it.
3. Take an antihistamine medication like Levocetirizine twice daily for 7 to 10 days.
4. Other treatment options are oral Fluconazole, Itraconazole and Terbinafine taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
