hi there, hope you can help. I have had itchy bumps on my hands and feet for weeks now, theyre generally the color of my skin and wen i squeeze them they discharge a clear liquid. today i noticed a semi circular red spot on my inner thigh about 2 inches in diameter, it resembles ringworm but im not sure
Hi. As per your case history you are having a fungal infection called as tinea. My treatment advice is - 1. Don't scratch the lesion as it may worsen the condition. 2. Maintain good hygiene and bath twice daily. 3. Apply a mild antifungal cream like clotrimazole cream twice daily on the spots. 4. Oral antihistamine like levocetrizine can be given for itching. 5. Other treatment options are oral fluconazole, itraconazole and terbinafine taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
