What Causes Itchy Clitoris Along With Irritation Around Vaginal Area?
Hi a couple of days ago my vagina started feeling irritated arounfbthe clit area. I also have a discharge. Its water like, not thick or creamy. My clit itches and it now feels cut when I shower. My sister says it may be a yeast infection. I had sex 2 weeks ago and also I took a couple of amoxicillin antibiotics right around when it started. Is this normal for a yeast infection?

Hi Thank you for asking HCM. I have gone through your query. Your problem can be most likely due to yeast infection. Taking Amoxycillin can worsen that. Local examination and swab should be done to rule out this. Clotrimazole cream (monistat ) which is available over the counter can be used for local application. It should be used for 1 week. Avoid using soaps and irritants to wash the area and instead you can use saline or warm water. Using intimate wash also is good. Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear. Thanks.
