What Causes Itchy Knot On The Forehead?

Hello, I have a knot that appears in the middle of my forehead every few weeks. I know when it s coming because the middle of my forehead will start to itch and whether I scratch it or not, the knot will still appear. It isn t painful or anything and it usually disappears within a few hours. Should I be worried?

Hi,

Well if the knot disappears in a few hours then it is most probably due to an allergic reaction.

I would suggest you let the immunity of the body let it heal and in case if it continues to recur at every regular interval then you can once get it clinically checked by a Skin specialist.

A blood test can be done for confirmation. You can apply Benadryl ointment to relieve the itching and also do cool compresses over the area.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
