Hello, I have itchy and painful reoccurring lumps that appear on my outer labia in the same spot. The bumps mostly appear after a bout of intense scratching or some other form of irritation. The bumps can sometimes break open and ooze with a lot of pain to touch. What could this be?
There are many possible causes of itchy bumps on the labia, and if they bdon;t resolve on their own, you really need to see your doctor to have it checked out. It could be an allergy to some substance you are exposed to, a result of shaving, some type of skin infection, a fungal skin infection, or even in rare cases certain parasites can cause this problem such as lice or scabies. Though I doubt that is the issue, you may need to see your doctor to make sure it isn't something more serious. usually though, it is something simple and easy to treat.
