What Causes Itchy, Painful And Red Rashes Around The Anus?

Hi. About a week ago I had sexual intercourse with a man without any protection. These past few days, I have had a cluster of very itchy, painful red bumps around my anus. I have never had any other sexual partners, but the man has. I asked him if he was aware of him having any STD s, and he said that he didn t have any that he knew of. What xould my itchy rash be?

the rash may not always be due to std. it may be contact dermatitis- due to allergy to semen or other substances. maintain hygiene. avoid using excessive soap. use light cotton underwear. use emollient. if not cured, contact doctor
