What Causes Itchy Pink Patches On The Limbs?

On my arms and legs, I have a lot of pink spots that are red in the middle. Last week, I had something similar . I was prescribed methylprednisolone ( 21 pills ) and that cleared it up by late last week. Yesterday morning when I woke up I had spots on my arms and legs and it got worse throughout the day. They are very itchy.

Hi.
As per your case history you are having allergic dermatitis.
My treatment advice is -
1. Avoid using any new products like soap or perfume as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply a mild topical steroid cream like mometasone cream on the lesions twice daily.
3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine twice daily for 7-10 days.
4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics, oral steroid taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
