What Causes Itchy, Pus Filled Pimples On The Face?
I have pus filled pimples, usually 7 or 8 at at time time on my face. The dermatologists thinks Roseasa, but no redness on face other than area where infections starts...very sore and itchy...as soon as one heals 2 or 3 more show up...always around mouth or close to nose. I am 52 years old, 5'5, 130 pounds..take zocor and norvasc
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have itchy, pus filled pimples on the face which occur when duct of sebaceous gland get blocked and infected by bacteria. It could be due to hormonal changes ,stress or some medications. I would suggest you to not to prick or touch pimples , exfoliate your skin to remove dead skin and bacteria's, wash your face with mild soap twice a day. You should avoid over exposure to sun and use over the counter ointment containing benzoyl peroxide. Apply aloe vera gel. If condition persists even after adopting above method then consult dermatologist for proper evaluation of your condition . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics , isotretinoin containing ointment or procedures like chemical peel or microdermabrassion.
