I had a shingle s shot a few days ago. Since then I have developed a rash in various parts of my body. It is itchy but not painful. It continues to appear in different parts of my body at different times. It diminishes in say my upper arm and it appears in my chest. Right now the rash is in several different places in my body some more itchier that others. Any ideas as what to do other than just ride it out.
Hi, with your history it looks like you got acute urticaria which consists of transient wheals dissappearing within 24 hrs and reappearing elsewhere. If it is less than 2 weeks no tests are required .. Take Tab Allegra 180 mg twice a day, if you dont feel better make it thrice , still not, go see a dermatologist near by. If you do feel fine continue at least for 2 to 3 weeks before gradually tapering the dose off.
