What Causes Itchy Rash On Chest, Back And Legs?

I have a diffuse rash on my chest, back,upr legs,arms,face,in my mouth,ears,itchy eyes,itchy @ times,Buccal moccosa seems clear,I think it could be behind my ears.Started two days ago.Im a Nurse.My obvious concern could it be Rubella as I wasn t vaccinated. Eileen

Hi

The kind of skin rash you have developed could either be viral in nature or it could be a drug rash .
Take some oral antihistamines like Benadryl or levocetrizine along to relieve the associated itching and allergy .
I would advise you to see a nearby doctor soon for confirmation of the diagnosis and further management.
