What Causes Itchy Rashes On Lips, Arms, Abdomen And Back?
I have add itchy rashes on my lips, arms (wrist), abdomen and back on and off for months. The doctor gave me anti histamine and cortisone cream and I ve been trying all kinds of natural remedies. My lips not as itchy but still dark from this summer. Some rashes but not as bad as this summer. They were literally on fire and sucked up anything I placed on it. The closest thing that resembles this that I ve found from researching this is a peri- menopausal reaction.
Hello. Welcome to Healthcaremagic.com. I have read your query. I understand your concern. As per details, it seems that you are suffering from a condition called urticaria. It is characterised by red colored itchy transient eruptions over body. It can be caused by allergy to recent infection, any food, seasonal change, drugs, pollen grains etc. I will advise you to get your blood sugar levels, thyroid profile, Absolute Eosinophil count, IgE levels done. In such cases, I prefer to advise a combination of levocetrizine and montelukast to my patients. In recalcitrant cases, Consideration is given to start oral steroids . You can share my opinion with your doctor. I hope it helps. Take care.
