What Causes Itchy Red Bumps Around Waist And Legs?

Over thelast 3-4 days I have begun seeing little red bumps around my waste and legs. At first not much itchiness, though now a little more. The temperature has, during this time, dropped signigicantly, if that perhaps has anything to do with it. My skin is always sensitive at this time of year, though I do not recall any sorts of breakouts like this. Today I see a few small similar bumps on my forearms. I leave for vacation tonight and am concerned what wil become of it over the next week. Advice/Opinions?

Hi

The kind of skin rash you are developing is suggestive of Pityriasis rosea .
This is basically a harmless skin condition in which there is development of reddish oval to circular itchy skin lesions over the trunk along with the proximal limbs .
The lesions tend to persist for six to eight weeks and then heal by themselves .
Apply plenty of moisturisers.
